This is a beginner-friendly trail. It is well-worn and easy to navigate.
The trail will take you past farmland with the rolling green hills on all sides. The path is generally mild with a a few sections of loose stones or short inclines.
The trail will lead you to a fork near the top which gives hikers the choice between the main peak on the left and an alternate peak on the right. Both summits are just a short distance from this juncture.
Anyone who has visited Osmena Peak will tell you that the view from the summit of the main peak is spectacular. From the top, you are treated with 360° views of the surrounding pointy hill formations dotted around the peak, as well as Negros Island, Bohol Island, and a breathtaking sunrise view of Moalboal town to the east.
On the descent, you’ll also enjoy a great view of the rest of the region.

The downside to visiting in this period is that it is a popular time to visit Cebu and you may find yourself amongst the crowds.
