Mountains in Singapore - Asia
Singapore is a rather flat island, but it has a few hills good for hiking. They're covered in pristine tropical jungle, and you can reach within an hour of stepping off a flight from London or Tokyo.

Puaka Hill (Bukit Puaka)
Bukit Puaka is the highest point on Pulau Ubin Island, Singapore. From the top, there is a beautiful view of Ubin Granite Quarry.
Legend has it that many years ago a pig, a frog and an elephant raced to Johor, but none of them made it, so they turned to stone. The pig and the elephant became Pulau Ubin, which means granite Island in Malay, and the frog became Pulau Sekudu, a tiny Islet, also known as Frog Island.
Mount Faber
Mount Faber is Singapore’s second-highest hill and was originally named Telok Blangah Hill. In July 1845 the hill was renamed after Captain Charles Edward Faber of the Madras engineers, who built a winding road to the top to install a signal station.
The hilltop destination is a great spot to spend a romantic evening or create a fun experience for the whole family.
Bukit Timah Hill
Bukit Timah Hill is barely a climb, but is the high point of Singapore, and a highlight for her visitors.
Designated Singapore’s second ASEAN Heritage Park in 2011, the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve is home to about 40% of Singapore’s natural flora and fauna. It is so richly green, lovingly conserved, and well-curated, that even the most hardened of mountaineer will admit to Bukit Timah being worthy of a visit.
